Nick Minett-Smith, Director of Sales – Government

Nick started his working life at the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) communications security group before moving into the commercial world. He was a founding partner and Director of Secure Computer Systems (SCS) in 1986 and has over twenty years experience of selling to Prime Contractors, Integrators and Governments in the UK and abroad.

With extensive experience of business development in the Defence Contract and Government arena, Nicks heads up sales to Government departments, primarily concentrating on the TEMPEST side of SST business. 

Chris Sullivan, Director of Sales – Defence

Chris gained his HNC Electronics Engineering qualification in the Royal Air Force and subsequently served at GCHQ Cheltenham in the Secure Communications Group.

Chris has over 25 years experience in IT and Communication sales and Management, the last 15 years dealing with the Ministry of Defence, Prime Contractors and Integrators. As well as the extensive range of products offered by SST, a large component of Chris’s work involves bespoke development, qualification, manufacture and through-life support activities required by Military programmes.

Erik Tuimann, European Business Development Manager

Erik gained his Masters Degree in Engineering from Tallinn Technical University in the field of Control Engineering and his Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Management from Estonian Business School.

Mr. Tuimann joined SST in May 2004 and has over 15 years of experience of sales and management- most of it in the IT sector. For 6 years he managed the sales office of 3M in Estonia and worked for Compaq Computers GmbH as the Services Business Development Manager in Baltic Countries. Prior to joining SST Mr. Tuimann was Managing Director of a computer distributor in Estonia.  

Kevin Archer, Director of Quality

Kevin has 20 years experience in quality assurance within the Aerospace, Security and Defence industries gained with companies such as THORN Secure Science International, COGNICA, AMLUk and Uni-Mill Engineering. Kevin has managed and developed quality systems within engineering, software development and magnetic security technology companies and has spent many years developing quality systems for secure document management and Biometric verification systems.

At SST Kevin is responsible for the management and continued development of the Quality System, accreditations such as ISO9001, final test and release functions and working towards ISO 14000 Environmental qualification.
