Matthew Richards, Managing Director

Matthew has a long-standing career in the international defence and security markets.

Matthew joined SST in December 2008 from Vislink plc, a leading global supplier of video centric microwave radio and satellite transmission products.  As Business Unit Director he was responsible for building the Group's strategy for defence, law enforcement and security applications.

Previous to this, Matthew spent 8 years at the defence electronics company L-3 TRL Technology.  His final role was Director of Surveillance Systems.

Matthew commenced his career with the American companies Andrew Antennas and Technology for Communications International in a variety of technical and sales roles with defence customers in the UK and overseas. 

Giuseppe (Pepe) Carmine, Finance Director

Pepe has almost 20 years of business and accounting experience gained in both practice and industry. Pepe qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 1996 and became a Fellow of the Association three years later. Before moving into industry, Pepe was audit manager of an accounting firm in the South West of England.

Prior to joining SST, he was the Group Financial Controller of DBI Group Ltd, which specialised in industrial, environmental and offshore services. During his tenure at DBI, turnover grew from £5m to around £20m pa, through a combination of organic growth and a number of strategic acquisitions, culminating in the sale of a large part of the group to a UK based Plc.  

Richard Mundy, Technical Director

Richard has over 40 years experience in engineering and engineering management disciplines. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Richard is a Member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology.

Prior to working for SST Mr. Mundy was Operations Director for Keymat Technologies Ltd, designing and making rugged man/machine interfaces. Mr. Mundy's career spans companies such as Menvier Security Ltd, Dowty Power Conversion Ltd, Dowty Electrics Ltd, Marconi Electronic Devices, Philips TMC and Emerson Electric. 

William Anderson, Director

Mr. Anderson has over 40 years of experience in Command Control Communications and Electronics systems in both the private and public sectors and currently holds the position President of API Cryptek Inc.

Prior to joining Cryptek in September of 2005, Mr. Anderson held numerous technical and management position in the private sector with BAE Systems, DigitalNet, I-NET, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), General Dynamics and Planning Research Corporation (PRC). In addition, he served as the President of Klein Technology as well as the President of Global Technology Solutions for Perot Systems Government Solutions.

While in the public sector, Mr. Anderson served in senior level positions within the command, control, communications electronics and computer science arena. He is a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College and was a Joint Service Program Manager responsible for global deployment of an automation system in support of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force.

Mr. Anderson earned a Bachelors Degree from the University of South Florida in Management and Computer Science and is also a Certified Acquisition Manager.
